A  SHORT OVERVIEW OF MY ACHIEVEMENT

NEW YORK INSTITUTE OF PHOTOGRAPHY (2007)

In the year 2007 I have participated in the New York Institute of Photography Contest, More than 7000 People participated in that event after the end of the contest I got a letter from Jean FU NYIP Photo Contest Director.

“The New York Institute of Photography Focus contest received over 7,000 entries—so as one of the top 100 in your chosen category, you are part of an elite group of talented photographers.” As said byJeanne Y. Fu (Photo Contest Director at New York Institute of Photography)

MICROSOFT (2007)

In 2007 Microsoft announced a Technical Contest for all student those who are studying at engineering college for B.Tech or MCA. More than 23000 students participated from all over India, I scored 6^th rank and my elder brother Varun pathak stood for 8^th rank in that contest. Microsoft given both of us windows mobile phone as a contest winner award.

I am also a winner of Microsoft 360 Moment International Photography contest of 2007, MS given me Leap tools as contest award.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHY (2008)

At March 2008 Susan Welchman, photo editor for National Geographic Magazine selected my image among other finalist. After the selection my image and other contest finalist images are opened for visitors voting and being the top voted image of the month my image is selected as Top Shot of March 2008.

SONY WORLD VIEW PHOTO CONTEST 2008
After thousand of great entries judges and visitors of Sony Ericsson World View Photo Contest website selected two of my best images as Global and All India winner of 2008.
